Healthy Indian Chicken Curry

This Chicken curry is made using chicken marinated in yogurt and spices. Onions and tomatoes are then cooked in spices, the chicken is added to it to make a delicious curry full of flavor.

Items you'll need
4 lbs. Lean Chicken Breast
4 Tbsp. Yoghurt
4 Tbsp. Ginger -Garlic Paste
1 Tbsp. Turmeric
1 Tsp Red Chilli Powder
2 Tbsp. Coriander Powder
 2 Onions
2 Tomatoes
2 Green Chillies
1 Tsp Cumin Seed

2 Dry Red Chillies
2 Green Cardamom Pods
4-5 Cloves
1 Bay Leaf
1 ½ Inch Cinnamon
1 Small Star Anise 
Underlined Items are also known as Khada (whole) Garam Masala
1 Tsp Kasoori  Methi
1 Tbsp. Powdered Garam Masala
2 Tbsp. Chopped Cilantro
2 Tbsp. Oil
Salt to Taste


1)      Marinate the chicken in Yoghurt, Ginger-Garlic Paste, Salt Red Chilli Powder, and Coriander Powder for 2-5 hours.


2)      Chop all the vegetables, add cumin seeds, Whole Garam Masala to hot oil.




3)      Add Onions, Chilies, Salt and cook for 30 minutes.


4)      Add Tomatoes, 2 Cups Water, and cook for 15 minutes.


5)      Add marinated Chicken and cook for 30 minutes.


6)      Add Kasoori Methi, Garam Masala, and cook for 5 minutes.


7)      Add Chopped Cilantro and cook for 15 minutes.


ENJOY WITH RICE AND RAITA!
